UPDATE:

Finally, A.C. has devoted herself to just one blog. She is very sorry for any inconveniences her indecisiveness may have caused, but she now runs the one, single, forever-staying blog Inkspot at inkspotwriter.blogspot.com. Feel free to check it out!

FAQs

What is writer's block?
Writer's block is a deadly disease found in anyone who's ever picked up a pencil. Its symptoms include depression, lack of interest in your book/novel, lack of brain activity, laziness, procrastination, hand cramps, and brain fog. Luckily, there is a cure for WB: plenty of inspiration and encouragement! That's what the Writer's Block is all about.

What is this blog for anyways? It seems kinda dumb.
The Writer's Block is aimed at teen writers, but can be used by anyone from ages 3 to 126. Mainly we wish to encourage and inspire young writers to keep writing even when the going gets tough, but we also provide services for young writers such as contests, awards, writing help, Q&A, and so much more!

Are teen writers psychopaths?
Yes. Yes we are.

How can I vote for or submit someone for Writer of the Month?
Easy! To vote for your favorite author, just leave a comment!

Want to see yourself (or some other fantastic writer you know) featured on our site as the author of the month? Awards (site-wide recognition and a little happy face) will be given at the beginning of each month. Comment or send your "virtual writing resume" and join the competition.
  • Submissions: Please email submissions to acrossbooks@gmail.com. Submissions should include short bio (something witty and fun or serious and emotional, it doesn't matter), a picture of the closest fictional character to you (i.e. Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, Barney, Elmo, etc....make it appropriate for little eyes, please!), and a list of your accomplishments (similar to our About Us page). Then, tell us how you whomped Writer's Block!

Why does A.C. like chocolate so much? And what's with Angelina Zoe and her Legolas thing?

That, my friend, is a story for another day.

Do you have a question we might have missed? Comment it!
