UPDATE:

Finally, A.C. has devoted herself to just one blog. She is very sorry for any inconveniences her indecisiveness may have caused, but she now runs the one, single, forever-staying blog Inkspot at inkspotwriter.blogspot.com. Feel free to check it out!

About Us

The Writer's Block is a blog dedicated to finding the cure to Writer's Block (WB), a dangerous and often deadly disease found in writers all over the world. With the help of authors like you, we can defeat Writer's Block once and for all.

Current Blog Authors:

Anastasia Cross (aka A.C.)
inkspotwriter.blogspot.com
acrossbooks.wix.com/acrossbooks

Anastasia Cross, the creator of The Writer's Block, is a teen writer dedicated to the fine art of chocolate consumption and storytelling. At the age of nine she completed her first short story and has now, at seventeen, finished a total of four books, with six others in the making. Her debut novel and the first installment in a series of four novels, The Cycle of Time: The Journey, is now for sale on the Amazon store (but a revised edition is on it's way, if you can wait that long...). She graduated from the Clinic for Stumped Writers (fictional department) at age eleven and has since made curing Writer's Block a lifelong pastime.

A. C. can be found at the kitchen table on her computer, blogging or writing or procrastinating about writing. When missing from said perch, she is usually dancing, playing piano, or convincing her six brothers and sisters that she is, in fact, very good at Mariokart Wii.

A. C. makes a living answering questions, so please don't hesitate to email her at acrossbooks@gmail.com, or you can simply comment and start a conversation involving many other writers just like you. Or, if it pleases you, visit A. C. personal blog at inkspot.blogspot.com.

  • Batman/Bruce Wayne/Jack Frost/Axel nerd (*fangirl screech*)

Mel N. Cholly

Miss Cholly writes daring fantasy novels, writing books with her special bold touch. She enjoys bringing readers to their knees, ripping tears from their eyes and causing them to writhe from the sheer epic intensity of it all, and then raising the knife for the kill. She loves to hold the suspense until you die, then simply drop the knife and proclaim quite simply that the hero won.

Thus the life of a fantasy writer.

Mel has completed one novel, a post-apocalyptic series titled The Orion: The Deadlands, with A.C. and is currently co-authoring the second installment, The Uprising, with her dear friend as well.

Mel can be found crying herself to sleep, staring majestically out the window, and reading Amish love stories. She does not recommend these books.

Miss Cholly has won no physical awards, but she enjoys making up fake ones that people will believe are real, just to make you giggle and then shake your finger in a very naughty sort of way. In her personal opinion, Miss Cholly has won:

  • The Best Author Ever Award
  • The Epicest Book of All Award
  • A Brief Congratulations on the Longest Living Ice Cream Cone Award (long story. If you must know more of this dismal tale, you'll have to ask me yourself.)
  • Accomplished Writing the Beginnings of a Book that will One Day be Something Special
  • Written five short stories and piled them into a book: Ty Skyy's Guide to Life
Mel N. Cholly cannot be reached by any person that may exist physically or metaphysically. She likes her privacy, but if you want to leave a comment for her and ask something, she will do her best to answer.

Angelina Zoe
atouchofrandomness.blogspot.com

Angelina Zoe is a Christian author who loves to show her personality through her writings (and her recent bold passion for WodFamChocSods (World Famous Chocolate Sodas). She started writing her first book at age seven. She knew then that she wanted to write for the rest of her life, for writing, she often says, can take you across the ocean and aboard a pirate ship, or in the unreal world where elves, dwarves, and magical creatures dwell.

That is what Angelina loves writing about; the mystical world of elves. She also writes about 'normal things', but prefers (for now) to write about things that are only of the imagination. But she's sure that will change.

She is in the middle of writing three books (two of which are fantasy and one with A.C. and Mel N. Cholly) and trying to edit one (something that takes all of her brainpower!). But of course, sacrifices must be made a a fantasy writer. Visit her at her blog, The Randomness of a Teenage Writer

Accomplishments:
  • July 2013 winner of the Writer's Block "Writer of the Month Award"
  • Currently writing three novels
  • NaNoWriMo 2012 winner
  • Completed one novel (a really cheesy one)
  • Legolas fan
  • LOTR nerd
  • Elf lover
  • Movie quoter
  • Sided with the Marvel fans in the Marvel vs. DC Comics war (GO THOR!)
  • Prides herself on being the best at the Wii game Disney Universe
  • Capable of reading over four hundred pages in one afternoon
  • Slurps down WodFamChocSods faster than anyone on the planet
  • Is obsessed with any animated Disney movie
  • Steals her brother's harmonica to rock out
  • Plays piano and ukulele at the same time
  • Quotes LOTR all the time

All said and done, Angelina is a hopeless elf lover. She is always either dreaming about elves, writing about elves, talking about elves (especially Legolas), wanting to be an elf (yes, I know...it's a little creepy. I've told myself that but I just don't listen), or reading about an elf. Yes, she is a total elf nerd. She falls in love with the elves she writes about. And to answer you other question, yes...she is a total nutcase.

A.C.,

You like brownies, too? Would you like to join the Big-Brownie-Buddies club? All you have to do is insist on eating brownies the size of your hand and repent when you have to ear the little cut ones they serve at church and stuff.
